If your firewall is on then that's the highly probable reason you're having difficulty connecting. Forced resume is when you press the Resume button (particularly from the Lib window ha the worst effect.) Force resume: Initially those files will be queud for a long time, if they connect then good but for the others: then Waiting # amount of secs for Sources (it sends out searches every few mins over a period of time), & ends up as Awaiting Sources if it can't locate enough sources to dwnld from. This 'can' not only effect your connection but it's also not healthy for the network b/c it floods it with continual searches. I don't believe this is your problem however.
