The legitimacy of links is a separate problem--same as the legitimacy of http links like in signatures.
You've had a few problems with those in the past, but not enough to ban http links and I think it would be a bad idea to start banning arne and trap_jaw's signature. Both are good examples of links that are posted to help gnutella users.
Magnets are a legitimate protocol--we shouldn't automatically assume they point to infringing content, which is what the **IA want people to think when p2p is discussed.
Perhaps it would be best to add to the rules that if posting a link, make it clear that the content is legitimately shared, asd trap_jaw did here
