If you browse around these forums ... and do a Search on topics such as LimeWire playlist or player or whatever, you will find many posts from others on the same subject...
As a starter, try playing your music files with Windows Media Player instead of the 'player' that is bundled with LimeWire (or ANY other p2p client's 'player'... It is NOT only a problem with LimeWire's 'player'.)
The 'players' that are included with the various different p2p clients are really only meant for monitoring as opposed to listening...
At the risk of inviting tons of contrary comments here, I would also suggest that you try Musicmatch Jukebox as a player and much, much more...
Click on the same Musicmatch Jukebox in my sig above if you would like to download it...
The free trial version is fine for your first experiments, but I would certainly say the the program is one of the few out there that is really worth buying !
Let us know how it all goes, OK ? |
