NOT THIS ONE....

I am using Windows 98 and FREQUENTLY get an error message stating "Sock X (x is often 20 or 21) 24050 network subsystem has failed 1false".

A similar message will appear shortly afterward for every file being transferred. The software must then be forceably terminated.

FYI I am running a Zonealarm firewall, and Sygate NAT software. Usually the software works, so it is clearly an intermittent problem and apparently not unique to NT or Win2k. Sorry guys :-) It may be more prevalent when I am conducting multiple searches, but I haven't tested this...
