Lightbulb XoloX Down, BearShare Up?

I had switched from Gnotella to BearShare a few months back for stability reasons, giving up on Gnotella's one claim to fame, the drop down list for file types due to it's slowness and so-so stability. But, while BearShare has shown that it is tough enough to transfer gigs and gigs of information every day, and log them nicely (I finally figured out the reporting features), it still has not had any killer features which could put it over the top of the other clients.

I've only been using XoloX for about ten minutes now, but I have noticed that it co-exists quite nicely with BearShare, and uploads seem to be it's achillie's heel.

Ding!

I've been running BearShare nonstop for weeks, and I rarely have problems with it on my WinXP RC1 machine, and have had no crashes at all on RC2. I will start using XoloX only when I need to download something, emptied out the shared directories so only BearShare has access to them, and maxed out the transfer speed. I am hopeful that this will work.

Anyone else care to comment?
