We seem to be at cross purposes here. The fact that you have Windows Media Player would suggest that you have a PC and not a Mac driving OSX. If my suspicion is correct, you should ask your question in greater detail in the forum for PC users.

If, however, you have contrived to acquired a copy of OSX without iTunes, then you should download a free copy from Apple and nominate it for MP3 play.
