All right, first of all, the users the Gnutella forums, and the developers of LimeWire (or any other P2P client for that matter) have absolutely no control over what is shared on the Gnutella Network. It is the choice of the millions of users.
Finally, when downloading files you should try to use all of the common sense you posess. To me it is quite obvious that a song with the words "AOL first listen" has an above average chance of not being at all what the title says it is. And most songs are anywhere between 1MB and 15MB, but a "song" that is between 10KB and 200KB is most likely a virus. I hope that this has answered your questions.
