Not so easy my friend OptOnline further added, it was not just the amount of uploads, but also the continuious time of the uploads that their computers monitor. Because I have set the bandwidth down, and set the socket for one person at a time, but what I got was a line up of users waiting to get my files. Hence, still a continous upload. I did lower the share amount of files down to a drop in the bucket. No more MP3's available (which I have over 25,000 Oldies But Goodies and that was the bulk of what users wanted from my system). I do not have a contract with OptOnline and I will be looking to get either DSL (If they do not have a simular restriction) or maybe a T1 line if I can justify the cost. Now I understand when I was searching for files, and I browsed other OptOnline users, and wondered why they only have one file each in their share folder. At first I thought, how cheap, now I think, ah! playing it safe...
OptOnline (Roadrunner Affiliate) now I understand why they are the fastest. Because each user is basically limited to uploading or else! |
