Salut kateedid, please install another gnutella client, so we can be sure the problem is from LW. I suggest you Bearshare lite that doesn't have any spywares.
http://www.bearshare.com/lite/ Once installed, can you connect with it? If yes can you look at the lights at the top right? There are four lights if I recall correctly, and one of them tells you if you are firewalled. Are you firewalled on port 6346?
