There are many programs that can tell what you are using your computer for. There are some ISPs that charge you depending of the amount of bandwith you are using, so when you your boss gets the bill he'll see you were probably using a p2p program. He can even see if you were using it just double clicking on the pc's icon or in your firewall in the system tray. In most cases, however, he won't tell.
