The things is, there's software firewalls that block a lot of access. There's also adsl/dsl modems many of which use NAT which in a way works as a firewall. So if you have one of these types of modems you will also need to configure it by using what's known as port forwarding. To know whether you use a NAT modem a simple test can be run by simply visiting the following site & it will tell you (look at what's in the grey box & it will say whether you have a nat device or not!):

http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ & it wil hopefully tell you the test page was a success. Could you reply back what your test results were for these 2 tests. And if you do have a nat device, then tell us the details of your modem as I asked earlier. If you don't have a nat device & your 6346 test failed than your firewalls/norton are interfering.
