It's not just you: there are many misleading files being shared.
Some are deliberately malicious, looking for ways to trick downloaders.
Others are accidental (people who don't carefully check a download after complete).
It's like fishing: you need to use the riight bait (search terms and types), and get a feel for what to haul in when you get a nibble.
Cheers---it's some of the fun of filesharing: finding the good files hidden in all the bottom-feeding spam. Pull one in and you get bragging rights with old the other old-timers. You also get the stories of the one that got away, or how you tricked the spammers.
So--learn the search terms that get you the results you want. For video, I like to use two search terms and the .mpg extension in an "Any type" search. Ignore anything with very long provocative names or small file sizes.
Hint--if it says "britney", don't bite.
