Murasame,
Basically these are my specs:
AMD Athlon K7 motherboard with 550Mhz processor with 255 MB of RAM; running Windows 98SE with LimeWire Pro 4.2.6 and an ADSL connection.
According to this test site:
http://www.pcpitstop.com/internet/default.asp
my upld spd: 535/s kilobits and my dnld spd: 723-728 kilobits/s I'm not qute sure what to do with these numbers. It looks like I'm getting nothing close to what most others are getting in terms of the thousand range. Either that or it's being calculated without the thousand, I'm not sure. This is where part of my confusion is coming from.
I hope this gives you something to work with.
