OSX disconnects after seconds or minutes of download. I experience seems to be a common problem with Limewire PRO (latest version) breaking my AOL dial up connection. A few months ago I had this problem, contacted tech via e-mail, and got nothing in the way of help but some surly responses to my very carefully and politely worded queries. After a few months dormant, I upgraded today to the new version for OSX and now have the same problem as before. Further, I now don't find a way to reach tech support at all. I've tried one download at a time: same result. Even when all files are "paused" while Turbo is active, the signal dies. This problem has generated enough comments that one would expect some form of disclosure from Limewire. I'm wondering about a class action suit to get my fees returned. Any suggestions? |
