I tried to login (previously noted) via the instructions given in the 5100 manual. I copied this step directly from the it:
To log on to the Web interface for the first time:
1. In your Microsoft Internet Explorer
Address bar or Netscape Navigator
Location bar, enter the default router IP
address:
http://192.168.254.254
The Administrative User Setup screen
displays.
The page does not come up, I get the error message (previously noted):
"connection failure has occurred" I can not get past this step,
I also spoke to both my ISP and to Efficent Support who told me the same thing (step 1.).
Perhaps the router is faulty? Not sure what else it could be if I can't log in to the address
http://192.168.254.254. I also tried 192.168.0.1 and still the page does not even load, just the error message. Is there anything left to try?
