Stick with what keeps you happy unless you start getting too many problems. I stuck with LW 2 for over 2 years. I can't say I was totally happy over that period but I was happy with the end reults even though it meant the odd corrupt downld prefs which was prevalent with that version. However after moving up to LW 4 I've never looked back. Be it LW 4.0, or the 4.1 betas or 4.2 I've been happy. Only when I jumped from LW 4.1.7 back to 4.0.4 did the downld prefs go stuffy (which happened twice) but before that it never happened with LW 4 & found LW 4.2 filled a lot of needs. Sometimes particular verisons do better for a particular system than others. As I was reminded when I stepped back to OS 9 today for a few hours. When you decide to upgrade to a higher vresio don't forget to upgrade your Java before-hand, be it by 1.4.2

Java 1.5 (take the JRE)
