Are you using OS 8-9 or OSX? If you're using OSX I'd recommend using iTunes to listen back to music anyway. I'd recommend the same for OS9. For OS8 I'd suggest a program like Audion. ie: Disable LW's media player. OSX: LW's prefs>Player & untick & press Apply. For others the same except, Tools>Options>Player.
