Tried DOS & hated it. Somehow I found Unix better for some reason. Hard to put my finger on it (now anyway - without writing an essay. lol)

In today's world dvd burners are almost the only way to go. You can pick one up very cheap nowadays. But research it 1st to make sure it fulfills your needs!!! RW is 1st preference! Make sure it has good reviews by users & no or little negative fieedback via a google search.
