Har harharhar! lol There's different types of icons for every type of file. Can you give us a snapshot of these icons? If they are abnormal then I can tell you otherwise I can explain what they are.

Remember when you choose to downld a file, its icon will change to an open manilla folder. If you stop a file from downlding it will change to a ripped piece of paper.
