After connecting to limewire every action I take i.e. searching, changing from one screen to another, downloading or previewing, limewire freezes than changes connections. It sometimes takes 10 minutes to reconnect in the mean time i just wait while my computer clicks away. I had 4.2.6 basic limewire for about a month and in the beginning it worked perfectly. When the problems began I tried reinstalling (numerous times)and somehow wound up with 4.4.1 and the problem got worse. I have roadrunner and use thier anti virus and firewall (ez trust ez armor)which is set to allow limewire. also windows 98 se. I have 78 files to share and searching and downloading are so tedious that I'm ready to throw in the towel, although 2 weeks ago I was ready to turn pro.
I searched the forum and my particular problem is not addressed,however, I made all the option changes to speed up. Somebody Please Help!
