I'm not a BS user but I'd suggest that it depends on your downld bandwidth. I have a max speed of 27 KB/s downld. But if I'm downlding 4 files at 3, 5, 10 & 7 KB/s then I might think yes the chances are the ones at 10 & 7 might be able to go faster if I wasn't downlding the other two. And that can be the case. Yet if I'm downlding one at 3 & others at 4 & 3 & 8 & 3 KB/s I'd be fairly sure that those ones wouldn't go 'much' faster if I stopped any of the others. In that example I'd still have 6 KB's at least left over so why isn't it being used up?! And in most cases it's b/c that's the fastest I can obtain b/c that's the total bandwidth offered to me from those sources at that time. |
