It's best if you both have Chat enabled, & you both have some free upld & downld bandwidth & (slots) available. Sometimes there's no explanation why somebody can't be connected to directly or browsed. Set up a file with a unique name & have your friend search for that or vice versa.

By the way are you people using the LW Beta program? IF not then why did you post in the Beta section? This is a Connection issue!
