Are you Using WindowsXP as your operating system.

If so you can if you have adiministrative privileges. By using windows explorer you can search and locate LimeWire and create a shortcut to that users desktop.

This can be a real PITA. You will also need to configure access privileges, and the sp2 firewall.

I just did this on my comp. and the sp2 firewall enabled itself automaticaly as did the internal networking.

Luckily wizards opened for both(network then firewall) and led me step by step through this process.

You must configure/allow LW full access through the windows firewall for each account, otherwise Limewire will not be useable in the other accounts.

LimeWire will startup like normal, but will never connect to the internet, because of the firewall.

It doesn't matter if you have windows firewall disabled or not for the internet. It has to be configured for each user account, and you must have administrative privileges to do this.
