The Bitzi lookup already is included (right click a file to test), and does much of what you want. iTunes is supported, and also does much of what you want.

These are all great features, but personally I wouldn't want LW to try to be a media center. It would take so many more people to develop and maintain, and those other groups are doing a good job.
