If a download has gone a bit off & slowed to 1 or 2 KB/s, then try selecting it on the downld window & pressing Stop button. Then re-select it from your search results & press download button. This can sometimes re-vitalise a downld. Do this every now & again & back it up the the occasional new search for sources. 5 connections is normal for Pro whereas Basic only gets 3.
