I'm not familiar with the process manager in Xandros; however the terminal command is case-sensitive. So it should be

ps ax|grep LimeWire

instead of Limewire.

Please try that.

Also, is there anything printed on the terminal when you start limewire? Doesn't anything print when it returns you to the prompt?
