I have almost the same problem with a few avi files I've downloaded recently. They do "play" in windows media - all you can hear is the sound, like it is one long mp3 file instead of a video. I tried playing the avi in Quicktime, but it apparenly doesn't play avi's. Any suggestions would be helpful.
