I downloaded some Noam Chomsky lectures and some Sopranos, and one of them has destroyed my computer once and for all- erased it entirely, and replaced it with an extremely bizarre graphic that actually laughs at me when I turn on my computer... there is no start button at the bottom of the screen... no cntrl alt dlt option- just the laughing man, always laughing...

Funny for a bit, but then . . . "Poor folks."
Actually, I hope everyone reads his post. Those who take it seriously should stop using LimeWire, and then maybe the infected files will stop being spread by the those who don't check what they are downloading. True, they will have to learn to be very careful about their email attachments and web sites, but at least they won't be on gnutella or other filesharing networks until they understand how to protect themselves by either getting a mac or Linux distro, or loading their Windows with checkers
