Hmmm Don't think the problem is what you think. LW's default player is very very basic. It will do that.

In LW tools>options>player ---- uncheck the box ---- press apply then okay.

You will also have to close and restart LW for the changes to take effect. This will set your systems deafault player as the player LW uses for mp3 files.
