I've spent years in networking, routing, advanced rule sets, MiRC and FTP server/file transfers, various remote access software through several server, router, and firewall combinations and configurations but this new age of P2P clients is a joke.

There has to be better options then just setting up DMZ which even at that seems to have issues. I've read more forums in the last few days on this P2P stuff then I've read in the last several months on networking in general.

I know where a part of the problem exists on occasion but I can only speculate as there is no real informative info to accompany why this or that is not connecting or if the file/source found is incorrect or other and most of the time just sits and waits with out warning as to why it is really waiting. It just leaves you wondering if you should search out and wait for something else other then the vague reasons I have seen which really tell a guy like me nothing. Very frustrating.
