I'd like to thank all that tried helping me solve my problem. Unfortunately I ultimately had to resort to rolling back my ForceWare drivers to v.66.93. The compatibility issue with the new drivers remains a rather grievious matter, and it is up to either Gnutella (more probably) or NVidia (less likely) to solve it soon, or they might find some very dissatisfied customers on their hands...
