Connection Problems I have been receiving the following message & I'm not sure how to fix it:
"Your machine does not appear to have an active Internet connection or a firewall is blocking LimeWire from accessing the internet. Please check your connection or firewall settings and then select "Connect" from the file menu to connect LimeWire to the network."
I have already tried resetting the firewall settings to Default Settings at Options > Tools > Advanced > Firewall Config. I also do have active Internet connection (DSL) & I'm not behind a firewall.
I have been using LimeWire for many months & occassionally this error message comes up. I had no problems last night but today this error message is back again. This message usually goes away after not using LimeWire for about 1 month. What should I do? |
