The # tab which is next to the quality tab represents the number of sources/people that have the song/file you are searching for. Therefore, if you download a file with numerous sources you will get a much faster download. For example, if you download a file that has no other sources in the # tab, your download may not be as fast as those with numerous amounts of users who have the same file.
