You have to remember your d/l speed is affected by the u/l speed of the host. If the host can only u/l at 3 KB/s then that is what your d/l speed will be.

Don't forget there are still many dialup host. Not all places have broadband.

Just a side note: The more hosts availble for a file the better chance of a succesful and faster d/l
