I'm not inept but I'm not hugely technical so bear with me, I'll answer best I can

1) Networked, I am running off an ethernet connection on my school network...other people use Ares and Limewire without probs so its not an issue of school blocking it, we are regulated through internet disconnection when we download over a certain amount

2) I currently have my firewally running with everything enabled except Gnutella/Limewire, but it makes no difference even if I (eek!) switch my firewall off

3) 512

4) 27 G available
5) Broadband



well I've already answered those I guess, don't have my own broadband modem obviously, or my own isp providerk, it is my university.

Limewire 4.8.1, java 1.4.2_05

First use of LW but have used similar programs without probs.. I just was craving one song heh
