The whole point of what I was saying about iTunes is that it creates separate folders for each artist & their albums & everytime you add a song to iTunes it automatically adds it to the appropriate location or creates them. And if you adjust the id3 tag it also will automatically update the folders & playlists. ie: if you share your iTunes music library then it will be nicely organised for you. Just as the examples I gave. The difference b/w iTunes & wmp is that iTunes uses its own library of songs unless you use a playlist. Whereas wmp is simply a reference player & basically relies on playlist type of thinking. Thus if you move a song from one folder to another, wmp won't be able to find it unless you update its database with a computer search. Same applies to Real P. Just a thought.
As for anything else well there's no alternative at present. You need to separate the files yourself. What you can do is organise your downld folder by file-type so all files of a particular type will be grouped making it easier to separate them so you can cut & paste them wherever. |
