As of yesterday, sometime in the 9pm hour of yesterday, 9/25/05, I began experiencing the same thing, Angel, and it hasn't changed since. The only difference in our experiences is that I've taken care of all the firewall and antivirus thingies months ago, yet just late last night I haven't been able to get past one bar, 'connecting', on der limewire connection conjugation thingy.

I'm at a university, have HUGE BANDWIDTH BACCHANAL with an "Internet II" connection, and am almost always connected at 5 bars, "Excellent!", and sometimes "Turbo", Wwwwhhhhheeeeee, and only rarely "Good" for more than a minute. When I first connect each day it may often hover at 'connecting', virtually always remedied rather immediately by disconnecting then connecting again, taking the setting to "Good" within seconds, and to "Excellent", if not immediately, then within 30 seconds.

I haven't gone beyond "connecting" since 9something pm last night. I've given up more files to uploading than I've downloaded, "I Want My LimeWire Back!", fast and furious.
