I'm wondering if your modem doesn't use UPnP technology. If that's the case then perhaps you should forward a port. You can find Westell here on the far right column at bottom of page:

Steps are:
1. Set up a Static IP (very important or it won't work!)
2. Forward port 6346 or other port you can find open.
3. Within LW:
