I am relatively confident that you cannot send files into the network (upload ) at that same rate. Well, this is true for most users. Also, recently I've received complaints from people not able to download at good speeds. After much troubleshooting we learned that the ISP was throttling P2P traffic. Nothing you can do about this short of changing ISPs. |
Thanks for the explanation LeeWare. I guess as I become more acquainted with all the nuances involved in file sharing I will understand better.
Is there anywhere I can test my speeds and is there anywhere that explains, bit rates, ping rates, throttles etc in laymans terms?
Thanks again
