Hmm. Seems my nick has mutated.
Anyway.
Sorry for not replying to you people but a man's gotta study for exams. In less that a week I'll be done with those annoyances and come back to help you guys a lot more often.
padraic. It seems that comcast is your problem. I suggest switching although it has been said that there is a way to get around this hindrance without taking such drastic measures.

habilbaby... uh my (nick)name is murasame (thatk God you got it right the 2nd time
).
It seems that you have a firewall blocking your connection. And if itsn't that, then it must be a router (you said you're on a LAN right?). Check with the one responsible (if you are allowed to do so) to see if it's possible to configure them.
john, are you saying that my initial post is too technical? I tried to make it as less technical as possible (I'm not much of a technology geek myself so I prolly
couldn't make it more technical even if I tried...), but if you trully think it's difficult to understand then I will try to make an extra effort in making it even simpler. After all, I want it to be understandable by people who have little or no experience with computers (without it being insulting to their intelligence). Any suggestions are welcome.
