As I recall LW 4.33 was a beta version. All versions around that time had a security hole. I'd highly recommend you update to LW 4.8.1: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

Also consider updating your Java to Java 1.5. See the following link & get the installer downlded to your computer & then install it (don't install java over the net!): Fixes for Limewire There is a further update for the version of 1.5 than the one in my link. Also consider deleting your LW preferences as described in the previous link.
