You obviously didn't actually add the songs to iTunes Music Library but were confused by the LW playlist within iTunes.

1. You need a file recovery utility such as Norton utilities or a FREE one from here: PC Inspector File Recovery (click on link)

2. See How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) in order to prevent this problem occuring again in the future.
