So you tried each of the suggestions from this link? Fixes for Limewire Did you try the win 2k setting? Did you try deleting your preferences? Did you try swapping your version of Java over? Did you go directly to the LW program folder & attempt to open it directly?

If you've tried all these without success then try the beta 4.9 http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml
