You can't. If LW allowed more connections, you would swamp upload slots and that would only decrease file availability and download speeds for other users. Remember we all share our bandwidth, but sharing equally in the most efficient way is what is attempted here. If you want more speed or connections you might want to try Bittorrent which is specialized in sharing one file and without the network overhead.
