I kind of got lost with all the anti-virus programs that are offered. I had Anti-vir, but I downloaded it from MyMusic, so on some very exellent advice I've thought I was getting (not from your site), I switched to Avast. Now Symantec tells me that I am vulnerable to viruses. I thought the Avast was constantly updating their database, so I wasn't worried at the time, but I guess that was the wrong choice. Are there any free downloads from Download.com that you would recommend? I have Ad-Aware by Lavasoft. Should I get SpyBot search and Destroy, another recommendation? And should I get Peer Guardian? Are these capable of working with viruses? I there must be a list somewhere on the forum about free anti-virus downloads, but I can't find it right now.
