There is no lifetime membership with the official LW. I'd recommend cancelling the transaction thru your card company asap. The real LW can be obtained here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml

I would recommend you try out the FREE version 1st. If you like it, then consider getting LW Pro.

BTW Video codecs can be obtained for FREE. See CODECs list and alternate players for Movies So in other words you've been badly scammed.
