Have a look at the lower posts on the following thread: How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) toward the bottom of the page will show you how to make a playlist in m3u format & you can import playlists also. But remember a playlist is simply a reference to the location of a song at the time the playlist is created. But if you later move the location of the song the playlist will no longer work! So keep that in mind.
