I hope this is not your case but see
ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire b/c Cox has been known to filter individuals using a p2p program filter.
When you did the port forwarding, did you initially set up a static ip? This is probably the most important step. Otherwise after the next time you connect to the net, if you still have a dynamic ip, it will change & your port forwarding won't have worked. After doing the port forwarding, test it here: Using your browser go here:
http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?
