I have used limewire for about a year now with no problems. I have 2mb broadband and usually have fast p2p download speeds.

Over the past week my downloads through limewire have gone down to a maximum of 6kbps. I have not changed any settings, I have the latest version of limewire, and my modem/firewall configurations are set up as suggested.

Has anybody else been experiencing these problems or have any ideas on a solution?

Incidentally, when I now try to monitor the incoming searches the message 'your client is a leaf node shielded by an ultrapeer. Hence you will see few or no searches in the monitor window'.

This message never used to pop up and is the only difference I can think of.
