The basic version of LimeWire is free, and the pro doesn't cost anywhere near what you say you paid.

It looks as though you have been to scam site. reference my 1st link. Scams site are know to have problems with there versions of LimeWire. Plus they load them dowm with spyware.

My suggestions is get the official version then if you have problems you may get the help you ask for. Reference 2nd link
